Among her many activities, she still makes time to chair various committees of the African-American Renaissance Trust and holds memberships on various boards.  She is also a member of the Atlanta Business League, Concerned Black Clergy, Georgia Real Estate Educators, Dekalb Board of Realtors, Atlanta Board of Realtors, Empire Real Estate Board, Georgia Coalition for the People`s Agenda.  Dr. Avery was the 2002-2003 President of the Empire Board of Realtist, 2002 recipient of the Phoenix Award of the Dekalb Board of Realtors.  In 2004 she received the Pinnacle Leadership Award presented by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Concerned Black Clergy Award for Business.

EXPERIENCE
The former Senior Vice President of a Fortune 500 Financial/Investment Company made the decision  to build a real estate agency par excellence.  Out of that decision came RE/MAX Premier.  "Premier" underscores the fact that her agency is the largest African American Multi RE/MAX franchise in the nation.  In 2002, Dr. Avery purchased another RE/MAX territory located in the Cascade Area of Southwest Atlanta.  Dr. Avery saw the opportunity to instill her vision in this old and prestigious Atlanta Community.  This expands her influence from the Hills of Stone Mountain to the Cascades of Atlanta.  Dr. Avery is also the Owner/Director of Alpha Real Estate School in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

 Principal Broker and owner of two offices with over 100 salespeople primarily handling residential real estate, commercial and investment sales. While never competing directly with the agents, I consistently am one of the top producing agents while maintaining my managerial responsibilities. Primary responsibility is to sell homes and to get salable listings. Clerical work is handled by assistants allowing me to focus my undivided attention on selling. Sales volume has enjoyed an average 38% increase over past six years 98% of all listings taken have sold Sales prices have averaged 99% of list price Top Producer Top Listing Agent.
